Web 2.0 has enabled people to find each other, communicate and exchange information with one another in a wide variety of social, educational and commerce related activities. This is only a start when we consider the potential for technology that augments and participates with its collaborators. Web 2.0 technology has not been an active collaborator, it has only been somewhat passive in the revolution of collaboration and open-source technology.

Internet technologies are quickly moving out of Web 2.0 functionalities and into Web 3.0. The new eDoorways application software will enable a personal computing environment to understand more about the user and their collaborations in ways that wholly personalizes the users’ online experience.

This allows us to actively focus, use imagination and technical expertise to help position eDoorways ahead of the curve so we are sitting squarely where the market is going. Our reach is intended to be one of global impact. We have devised the strategy of rolling out our services across multiple mobile platforms to provide our users with a seamless transition from the desktop to the hand-held.

Augmented reality, also known as AR and commonly used on mobile devices, is a live view of a physical real-world environment augmented by computer-generated graphics creating mixed layers of imagery and data points. Much like the term implies, your world is augmented providing the ability to see relevant data in real time as it pertains to your environment. For instance, coupons on the items you’re buying at the grocery store, the names of the people you see at your class reunion, or the yellow first down line on a football field, will all appear on your screen as you use the phone’s camera to look at your surroundings. The feature is being implemented at a rapid pace and we are helping to usher in the trend with future releases of our mobile applications.
